Promoting a better railway system, this image shows an unexpectedly Art Deco element, which is virtually never seen in Socialist Realist posters. The aerodynamic train, seen in perspective, is reminiscent of Leslie Ragan's portrait of the 20th Century Limited. The poster quotes Stalin, stating that the "USSR as a country could not be imagined without a first class railway transportation system, linking together, into one unified unit, its numerous regions and districts." Beneath the portrait of a young Stalin carried on a banner is the quotation, "Technology, headed by people who are good at technology, can and must perform miracles."
